Concord Grape Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups of concord pie filling
- double pie crust
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 3/4 cane sugar
- 1/2 brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
Directions:
- Put bottom crust into 9″ pie plate
- In a sauce pan mix entire jar of pie filling with cane sugar, brown sugar, and 1/4 c. water
- Warm to dissolve sugar
- Taste, add more sugar if needed
- Mix corn starch into 1/4 c. water until lump free, then mix into filling
- Pour filling into pie crust
- Put top crust on and fold over and make vent holes in top crust
- Bake for 35 min at 350 degrees F or until golden brown
