Concord Grape Pie

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups of concord pie filling
  • double pie crust
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cane sugar
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch

Directions:

  1. Put bottom crust into 9″ pie plate
  2. In a sauce pan mix entire jar of pie filling with cane sugar, brown sugar, and 1/4 c. water
  3. Warm to dissolve sugar
  4. Taste, add more sugar if needed
  5. Mix corn starch into 1/4 c. water until lump free, then mix into filling
  6. Pour filling into pie crust
  7. Put top crust on and fold over and make vent holes in top crust
  8. Bake for 35 min at 350 degrees F or until golden brown
